The lab is back, now as the Living Wage & Income Lab, and it's time to address living wages and incomes in the agri-food sector. As new measures require, the event is going digital, so save the date: 8 February 2022, 10-11am CET.
Once again, the lab will have producers, retailers and other key stakeholders in the agri-food sector joining forces to come up with innovative solutions to tackle low payments in global supply chains. For the first session of 2022, we will build upon business practices that truly benefit farmers and farm workers from Tony's Chocolonely, Eosta and Fairtrade Original's. Our keynote speakers will share their company's journey, covering what worked and what should be left off the table. To balance the conversation, Oxfam's Uwe Gneiting will provide an overview of effective interventions for companies to achieve a living income.

After 5 years working together with Hivos, the lab is now relaunched exclusively by Fairfood within the RECLAIM Sustainability! Programme, a 5-year strategic partnership with the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs to foster inclusive and sustainable value chains. We say farewell and big thanks to our dearest partner Hivos, co-founders of this initiative who played a big role in creating this community of innovators.
